Fifteen UCI medical students and six resident physicians have been inducted into the 2022 Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism Honor Society (GHHS).
GHHS is a highly selective honor society and recognizes upcoming forth year medical students and residents, that believes that in order to be a complete doctor, both science and humanism must be fostered.
Inductees are nominated by their peers and are the ones that others say they want taking care of their own family. The awards purpose is to recognize upcoming fourth-year medical students and residents who have demonstrated exemplary attitudes and behaviors characteristic of the most humanistic physicians.

The Gold Humanism Honor Society champions humanism in healthcare, which GHHS defines as compassionate, collaborative and scientifically excellent care.
GHHS has more than 160 chapters in medical schools and residency programs, with more than 35,000 medical students, physicians, and other leaders who have been inducted and serve as role models of the human connection in healthcare.
