We need your help. Blood donations have dropped significantly in the last two weeks. To help address the situation, we will be holding a special three-day blood drive at the UCI Health Blood Donor Center in Orange starting this Friday.
The blood drive will be held Friday, March 26 and run through Monday, March 29 and Tuesday, March 30. In addition to receiving a t-shirt or Baskin Robbins gift certificate, everyone who donates will be entered into daily drawings for a Starbucks, Trader Joe’s or In-N-Out gift card valued at $25 each. There will also be a grand prize drawing at the end of the drive for a Samsung Galaxy Tablet.
We know many of you are interested in having a COVID-19 antibody test after having had the vaccine, so we are continuing to offer free tests when you donate blood. Just let our staff know you would like one.
Appointments are required and will be limited so that we can maintain social distancing protocols.
(There are no donation deferrals if you’ve received the Pfizer, Moderna or J & J COVID-19 vaccine.)
