New EFT System Improves Your Experience

TWIA is transitioning to a new electronic funds transfer (EFT) program on November 2, 2016. The new program will be administered by Chase, and will feature enhanced usability and provide more agency control.

Improvements include a streamlined payment process and user interface, and unlimited users able to make payments from a single bank account (the current EFT program limits the number to 10).

The following information pertains to those agencies who are already registered for EFT payments:

On November 2 at 6 p.m., the day the new EFT program launches, all EFT payment capabilities in Policy Center and Agent Portal will be disabled.

To resume submitting EFT payments to TWIA, your Agency Administrator will need to log onto the TWIA Agent Portal and complete the new Agency EFT Enrollment form. The re-enrollment process is very straightforward and consists of populating one screen online for each agency with address and bank account information. The agency's banking account information will be communicated directly to Chase and is not stored at TWIA.

After the Agency Administrator reenrolls the agency, all of the permissions granted/assigned in the current EFT program will be reactivated and the agency will be able to resume submitting EFT payments to TWIA. The Agency Administrator will also be able to grant additional users permission to submit EFT payments.

You do not need to take any action at this time. The current EFT program, administered by Bank of America, will be active until November 2.

If you enroll in EFT for the first time between now and November 2, you will be enrolling in the program that is being deactivated, and you will have to reenroll into the new program on November 2. If you intend to enroll in our EFT for the first time, you may find it easier to wait until November 3.

An updated job aid for how to use the new EFT will be available on the Learning Management System on October 18. An Agent Bulletin will also be sent the week of the launch with enrollment instructions. If you have any questions about EFT enrollment, please contact Agent Services at AgentServices@twia.org.
