The Instructions and Guidelines manual has been updated and is now available at TWIA.org! You can access the guidelines under the Agents tab in the Training & Resources section on the right side of the page.

Key changes to the manual include (but are not limited to):

· Differences in submitting Residential policies in Policy Center and Commercial policies through Agent Portal

· 2016 premium rates

· Clarified parameters regarding one- or two-unit apartment and townhouse buildings:

   o   An apartment risk containing one or two separate units arranged as       private residences and permanently equipped for housekeeping may be insured under a commercial insurance policy when the commercial insurance policy provides coverage for an apartment association.

      o   A townhouse risk containing one or two separate units arranged as private residences and permanently equipped for housekeeping may be insured under a commercial insurance policy when the commercial insurance policy provides coverage for a townhouse association.
