1/16-1/19: Cosmopolitan Week: A Journey Through Time |
| | | As we gear up for the much-anticipated Cosmopolitan Week 2024, let's take a moment to appreciate the rich history that has made this annual celebration a cornerstone of the Owen experience.
Founded just five years ago by Cally Biagini (MBA’19) and Aki Ota (MBA’19), Cosmopolitan Week emerged from their transformative experiences studying abroad in Vienna. Inspired by the broadening of horizons and cultural understanding that occurred during their time abroad, Cally and Aki envisioned an annual event that would bring together domestic and international students through shared experiences and storytelling. Since its inception, Cosmopolitan Week has been a testament to the belief that understanding diverse cultures is crucial for success in today's globalized business landscape. What started as a vision in 2019 has evolved into a cherished tradition, shaping the vibrant and close-knit community that defines Vanderbilt Business School.
Fast-forward to the present day, and Cosmo Week 2024 is ready to kick off another exciting chapter. From January 16-19, join us for an array of engaging events that celebrate diversity, foster cross-cultural connections, and provide an immersive experience right here on campus.
Spread the word, bring your friends, and let's make Cosmopolitan Week 2024 a memorable experience! Your participation is key to creating an inclusive and globally inspired community at Vanderbilt Business.
