2020 Physiology & Biophysics Department Annual Awards

Over the break, the 2020 Physiology & Biophysics Department Annual award winners were announced for the UCI School of Medicine.

Stephen Halley White, PhD, past chair of the Department of Physiology & Biophysics was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award. White was honored for his discoveries in membrane biophysics: membrane capacitance, partitioning of peptides into lipid bilayers, biophysics of membrane protein synthesis, folding, and assembly, and moving to structural studies on the translocon.

Distinguished Alumnus Career Award:
