The Villas at Vinegar Hill Ribbon Cutting Congratulations to Capital City Coalition NFP on the completion and ribbon-cutting of The Villas at Vinegar Hill. Located in Springfield, Illinois this project will serve Springfield Housing Authority residents and seniors in the community. The FHLBC awarded a $700,000 competitive Affordable Housing Program grant to the project through Illinois National Bank in 2013. Lofts on Arthington Grand Opening Mercy Housing Lakefront has opened the Lofts on Arthington, 181 units of affordable rental housing. Located in Chicago’s North Lawndale neighborhood, this project adapted a historic building into 181 units of affordable rental housing. The FHLBC awarded a $730,000 competitive Affordable Housing Program grant to the project through First Eagle Bank in 2014. Located in Tucson, Arizona, the supportive housing project will serve formerly homeless veterans. The FHLBC awarded a $635,387 competitive Affordable Housing Program grant to the project through One Mortgage Partners Corporation in 2015.
PhilHaven Grand Opening The Kenneth Young Center, in partnership with UP Development, LLC, has opened PhilHaven in Wheeling, Illinois. This project will provide affordable housing and supportive services for individuals with disabilities. The FHLBC awarded an $850,000 competitive Affordable Housing Program grant to the project through Village Bank and Trust in 2014.
