The Body Keeps the Score: Trauma, Attachment and Neuroscience | The purpose of this event is to provide knowledge about trauma and treatment of traumatized individuals to clinicians throughout Orange County. The needs for expanded knowledge concerning trauma and practice with traumatized individuals; were identified in clinical community evaluations that were administered during past events and through input from faculty that work with service providers throughout OC. At the end of the activity, it is expected that participants will have expanded knowledge of research findings concerning trauma and the most effective ways to treat traumatized individuals in health/mental health service provision settings.

Advanced Course in Cytoreductive Surgery for Gynecologic Peritoneal Surface Malignancies: Radical Pelvic and Upper Abdominal Procedures with Cadaver Dissection | The thoroughness of cytoreductive surgery is the largest contributor to survival for patients with advanced ovarian and primary peritoneal carcinoma. This program is designed to provide information through formal lectures, panel discussions and cadaver dissection about clinical applications of advanced cytoreductive surgery for ovarian cancer and related gynecologic peritoneal surface malignancies.
