That’s why our associate wellbeing program, Inspire Wellbeing, offers an exciting array of options to support your whole health.

One thing isn’t flexible though: the earnings deadline. Be sure to log in to the Inspire Wellbeing platform and earn your well-being rewards before the earning period ends on March 31, 2022.

March may seem far away, but it will be here before you know it. And keep in mind that some components, like scheduling a preventive care visit* may take several weeks to complete depending on appointment availability, so don’t delay! As a reminder, online scheduling via Centura.org is now available at 56 Centura Health Physician Group (CHPG) primary care clinics! Patient Online Scheduling is part of a larger ministry-wide digital strategy to improve patient access and care coordination. The new, updated feature allows any patient, new or established, to search for their primary care provider on Centura.org and schedule an appointment right from the provider’s online profile in less than three minutes.

Associates on a Centura Health medical plan: Start earning in five easy steps!
Earn 1,000 points by March 31 to earn the full $1,000 health premium reduction! It’s easy to get started earning:

Log in to Inspire Wellbeing.
Take five minutes to complete your wellbeing survey to earn 100 points.
Complete your tobacco status attestation to earn 400 points.
Confirm you have completed your preventive care visit to earn 250 points.
Complete other fun wellbeing activities to earn 250 program points.

Together, these activities equal your full $1,000 incentive! Your covered spouse can also earn 1,000 points, for a total of up to $2,000 in health premium reductions. Click here for a program checklist with more details about how to access programs and earn your full reward.

Not on a Centura Health medical plan? You can still earn rewards by completing wellbeing activities through Inspire Wellbeing! Earn at least 250 points by March 31 to earn $250. Your cash reward will be paid to you in the first quarter of the new plan year (July – September 2022).

EAP’s Myths and Reality series

Our Profile Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers confidential counseling, work-life services, legal or financial assistance to you and your family members. We don’t want misinformation to keep you from using this valuable resource.

Over the coming weeks, we will share our Myths and Reality series to address the most common concerns we hear from you – our incredible caregivers – on topics including accessibility, availability, confidentiality, provider and counselor expertise, location, and cost.

This week we focus on provider and counselor expertise!

Myth: EAP does not have any counselors that deal with children or adolescents.

Reality: EAP has many licensed counselors who have experience working with children and adolescents. Your EAP services are also available for your dependents up to 26 years or younger who are unmarried. To register for services:
Myth: My problem is not big enough to bother EAP with and it is not work related.

Reality: EAP is here to help no matter how little or big the issue is. It does not have to be a crisis, or work related to get assistance. EAP can help with anything that causes disruption to you or your family.

Myth: EAP network counselors are not familiar with what I do as a health care professional or the health care culture in which I work.

Reality: Profile EAP has a “provider relations” team whose main role is to match the EAP client to the correct provider (therapist). Profile EAP has subsets of specialized providers who see first responders, medical providers, and health care providers.

Our digital roadmap

As we continue our journey to become the system of choice, we have outlined a two-year ministry-wide digital strategy to further improve patient access and care coordination.

We recently kicked off our digital strategy work with the roll-out of Patient Online Scheduling – a quick and easy appointment scheduling tool that both new and existing patients can access via Centura.org and their provider’s profile.

Patient Online Scheduling
In October, we rolled out Patient Online Scheduling at 10 Centura Health Physician Group (CHPG) primary care pilot clinics. Following the successful pilot launch, Online Scheduling expanded to 46 additional CHPG primary care clinics in November.

Online Scheduling makes it easier for patients to connect with a provider and schedule their appointment in less than three minutes. Scheduling online also begins a continuum of online service to complement and support future patient care. For our incredible caregivers, this new feature will help reduce the amount of administrative work in our CHPG clinics. Visit our website to view the functionality.

Next steps
Over the coming months, we will continue to monitor Online Scheduling activity and plan to expand the feature to specialty clinics and eventually across our ministry.

Nursing Resource Site now live!

We are excited to kick off this new year with a new tool for you, our incredible nurses. Our all-new Nursing Resource Site on SharePoint will serve as your primary resource for nursing information, events and access to resources such as the new RN Clinical Ladder program and upcoming links to relevant pages such as the Evidence Based Practice Team resource page. Please note, as with all SharePoint sites, you must be connected to the Centura network to access our Nursing Resource Site.

Available right now in the RN Clinical Ladder page on our Nursing Resource Site is the 2022 RN Clinical Ladder Program Resource Handbook! This handbook outlines the program rules, qualifications and next steps toward your journey on the clinical ladder. There are also some associated forms on the page that will support you throughout the year as you continue your contributions. This program is a direct result of the feedback you shared in our 2021 Focus on Action sessions, Associate Engagement survey, and in our rounding with associates at the bedside (or clinic side). Our goals are to recognize and retain direct patient care nurses in the clinic, outpatient and inpatient settings.

The Handbook outlines who qualifies for the RN Clinical Ladder, and your leader will also have a list of specific roles approved to participate for this year. No application or action is needed from you at this time. All activities counted in the clinical ladder will occur between Jan. 1, 2022 and Dec. 31, 2022. Portfolios will be due Jan. 23, 2023 by 4 p.m.

We will continue to enhance the resources on this site. Coming soon: a link to a recording of the town halls for the introduction of the RN Clinical Ladder program, FAQ document and more supportive documents and forms. We will also build additional sections for shared governance support, various nursing activities and professional development opportunities!

Ultimately, our vision is that Nursing Resource Site will serve as the central hub for you to learn more about what is going on in nursing across Centura Health, how you can be involved and how we are enabling excellence across our nursing ecosystem. We appreciate your patience and feedback as we expand and develop this page so you receive maximum benefit from all we are creating!

To help ensure you are prepared, we are offering The Joint Commission’s Breakfast Briefings – a series of webinars designed to equip you with the information you need for a successful survey.

Each Breakfast Briefing will share the latest Comprehensive Accreditation Manual for Hospitals (CAMH) content. Subject matter experts from The Joint Commission will teach the standards, elements of performance, expectations for the survey and any changes for the coming year. These recorded webinars provide an opportunity to learn directly from Surveyors, the Standards Interpretation Group (SIG) and JCR Consultants with personal experience and best practices gathered from organizations across the United States!

Participants can also earn Continuing Education Units (CEU) by participating in a Breakfast Briefing!
