Interested in engaging with and helping our new nurse residents along on their professional journey? Consider becoming a mentor for our next 12-month program starting in May.
Centura is looking for 50-75 nurses to become mentors. Any Centura registered nurse can apply. You must have at least one year of experience and be in good employment standing. Once you sign-up on the platform, an approval will be sent to your supervisor for final verification. With your supervisor's approval you can then complete your mentor profile and will receive access to the mentor lab online training program, consisting of four one-hour sessions, which you can complete at your own pace on your time. Mentor pairs are matched electronically and then meet monthly, either in-person or virtually, for an hour to an hour and a half over the span of 12 months.
If you are interested, complete this form, or for more information, we invite you to email us at mentoring@Centura.org.
Enabling associate career development is a top priority as we continue our journey to become a true system of choice for our associates, physicians and our communities.

“I felt it was a great opportunity to earn the credential for a leadership position while working in a clinical position,” Luke Angel, manager of rehabilitation at Mercy Regional Medical Center, shared. “I can complete coursework around my work and life schedule. If I am extremely busy one week, I can adjust my study schedule to accommodate, then just pick a weekend to get caught up.” | ||
