Recognizing our incredible physicians

By compassionately caring for their patients and communities, our physicians at Centura Health deliver healing for the mind, body and spirit. Through the uncertainty of the last year, we are reminded of how truly incredible they all are. Today, on National Doctors’ Day, we extend special appreciation to them for consistently delivering high-quality, whole person care every day.

The clinics and hospitals across our connected ecosystem rely on the integrity and expertise of our doctors. Over the past year, more than 660 of our physicians across Colorado and western Kansas were engaged in key decision-making activities, from serving on entity boards and physician leadership councils, developing service line plans and supporting master facility planning for our campuses. Our physicians have also been working tirelessly to keep our communities safe and informed throughout the pandemic, often serving as trusted voices for our neighbors.

Our physicians inspire us by living their personal missions each day, and we are proud to have the best hearts, minds and leadership in medicine at Centura Health. Please join us in thanking our doctors for their skill, compassion and dedication as they work hard caring for our patients and communities – today on National Doctors’ Day and every day!

Help wanted! Sign up for ambulatory vaccine clinic shifts

We are excited to continue partnering with our communities to provide the COVID-19 vaccines. With many ambulatory vaccine clinics across our ministry, we need your support to help staff these clinics and provide vaccines as efficiently as possible. There are opportunities for both clinical and administrative associates to lend a helping hand. These roles, qualifications and training requirements include the following:

Clinical roles

Administrative roles Learn more about the roles and required training before signing up for shifts. As always, your safety and well-being are a priority, and we will provide you with the tools and support to assist you in being effective in your role.

How to sign up for ambulatory vaccine clinic shifts
Follow this process to sign up for a shift opening at one of our ambulatory vaccine clinic locations. Please continue to check back to view openings and sign up for shifts as you are able.
If you have questions about how to sign up for shifts, we encourage you to attend one of our upcoming lunch and learn sessions that will guide you through the sign-up process. Click on the links below to add a session to your calendar.Compensation
Associates providing coverage above their normal shift will be paid their hourly rate. Hourly (non-exempt) associates will be eligible for overtime as well as evening, weekend and night differentials per Centura policy. If working on a holiday, associates will receive holiday pay based on policy. Exempt associates (including advanced practice providers) will be paid straight time over/above their salary at their equivalent hourly rate for hours worked, but are not eligible for overtime, evening, weekend differentials or other hourly pay practices. Centura leadership (director level and above) and physicians are welcome to volunteer but not eligible for additional compensation.

Allocating hours correctly
All associates will need to transfer their time to the COVID-19 vaccine cost center using transfer instructions for exempt associates or transfer instructions for non-exempt associates, depending on your role. Select the cost center that is affiliated with the hospital for which you are working. A list of cost centers can be found here. Eligible exempt associates who sign up for vaccine clinic shifts in addition to their normal shifts must have this form completed by their leader in order to receive compensation. Advanced practice providers who work vaccine clinic shifts should contact their clinic leadership to ensure that applicable pay practices are followed.

Thank you for continuing to care for our communities when they need us most! Your enthusiasm, expertise and commitment to make every neighborhood whole and healthy is sincerely appreciated.
