American fast-food chain Taco Bell has announced a brand new addition to its UK menu, a plant-based meat protein filling that’s ideal for those looking to go meat-free this Veganuary.

Launching on January 7th at all 53 Taco Bell UK restaurants, the new meat-free filling can be used in any build on the menu, from burritos and quesadillas to the iconic Crunchwrap Supreme, to give vegans, vegetarians and flexitarians more choice.

Taco Bell UK’s new plant-based meat is high in protein and packed with iron and fibre, making it a healthier option than meat for those looking to eat more plants in 2021.

The fast-food chain is using Gold&Green’s Pulled Oats® for its new plant-based meat which is made from an innovative blend of oats and legumes. This unique combination ensures a meaty texture that absorbs flavour and seasonings beautifully to ensure it packs that same flavour as Taco Bells other menu items.
