We believe that every community, every neighborhood, every life can be whole and healthy… and that begins with our own Centura Health community. It is our incredible people who have enabled our ministry to develop connected, creative and highly reliable solutions to tackle every challenge. Today, we are filled with hope for a pandemic-free future as we rapidly distribute the COVID-19 vaccine.
Over the past two weeks, we have invited every one of our health care workers and actively credentialed providers to receive the COVID-19 vaccination. We have already vaccinated over 13,000 individuals in Colorado and western Kansas and plan to continue immunizing our internal health care workers, community partners and patients as vaccine supply is available. At this time, we are encouraging associates and physicians to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, but it is not required.
If you did not schedule your vaccine appointment and would like to:
Your personalized invitation remains active indefinitely. Centura Health will continue to offer COVID-19 vaccine as supply is available. Details regarding how to schedule your appointment were emailed to you between Dec. 14-30 with the subject line ACTION REQUIRED: Invitation to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
If you have scheduled and/or received your vaccine:
If you have successfully scheduled your vaccine appointment, please attend as scheduled so we ensure we do not waste any of our available supply. If you already received the first dose of your vaccine, please verify that your second dose is scheduled in your MyCenturaHealth portal and attend your second vaccine appointment to complete your COVID-19 vaccine series.
We are closely monitoring our vaccine distribution and any adverse reactions to the COVID-19 vaccines. Thankfully, we are aware of no major adverse reactions. If you choose to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, please report any adverse reaction to our Occupational Health team. It is important that we learn from our own data to help educate and inform other populations. As a reminder, the Occupational Health number is 303.673.7025.
Finally, as we work to vaccinate as many individuals as possible, please be aware that you may continue to receive invitation reminders, vaccine messages from your site CEOs and information in newsletters.

The Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) and the Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC) recently awarded accreditation to Centura Health Pharmacy Services Specialty Pharmacy, effective through 2023. URAC and ACHC accreditation recognizes and validates the hard work and dedication of our incredible caregivers on the Pharmacy team, confirming what we already knew: Centura Health Pharmacy Services operates with a high level of quality, integrity and effectiveness.
“Accreditation is an achievement of which your organization can be proud, and one that marks your commitment to quality in the provision of care,” said Timothy Safley, ACHC program director.
The specialty pharmacy strives to untangle the web of patients’ health, personal situations, financial situations, and complex drug delivery to truly care for the whole health of our patients. In July 2018, all Centura Health associates on a Centura medical plan began using Centura Health Pharmacy Services for their specialty medications needs, allowing our specialty pharmacy to demonstrate their ability to consistently deliver high quality personalized care using our integrated care model. This experience played a significant role in receiving accreditation.
This achievement will expand access to drugs and payors across the enterprise. Earning accreditation as a specialty pharmacy provider allows Centura Health Pharmacy Services to obtain and dispense specialty medications that are only available to select pharmacies. Accreditation will also allow greater opportunities to contract with insurance companies that only allow accredited specialty pharmacies into their narrow networks.
“This truly is an outstanding achievement and signifies a milestone in our journey to optimize Pharmacy Services for our patients, caregivers and communities,” said Clint Hinman, Vice President of Pharmacy and Shared Services. “I am grateful for the hard work and dedication of each member of our team and excited to embark together on the new opportunities accreditation presents to us as an organization.”
Please join us in congratulating the Centura Health Pharmacy Services team on this achievement!
The Dragon 360 application (Dragon Medical Network Edition), will be decommissioned and no longer accessible starting Sunday, Jan. 9. The replacement application, Dragon Medical One, has replaced the previous version as a safer and more efficient application.
The Dragon 360 application will be removed from physician, advanced practice provider and administrator workstations, disabling the ability to sign into any instance of the application. With the start of the new year, Centura begins the third quarter of FY21. Be sure to schedule a conversation with your leader about your strengths, development interests and a check-in on your goals before March 31.
Be a role model
Associates and leaders should now “start a conversation” within PERFORM. You can access the system from My Virtual Workplace (through single sign on) from the “Work Tools” tab selecting “Non-clinical Tools” then selecting “Glint Perform.”
Start a conversation
The quick reference guide will help you begin the process. First, everyone completes the Self Reflection tab. For goal-setting, associates will be prompted to enter one or two development goals for the quarter. Associates have the option to add one business (organizational) quarterly goal focused on and aligned with our 2025 strategy and your department or facility’s FY21 goals. Leaders are encouraged to have two business goals and one or two personal development goals for each quarter.
Questions?
A toolkit is available on LeaderResource. eLearning modules on continuous development conversations using the PERFORM platform are available in the LEARN course catalog. You may also reach out to your Human Resources Director, or email perform@centura.org for additional support.
