Got vaccinated? Show us your selfies!

Thousands of our caregivers have already received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, and we’d like to share your stories, photos and videos with one another and our communities. As our country’s mass inoculation efforts transition from frontline caregivers to the broader public, we know how valuable your stories can be in demonstrating the worthiness of the vaccine in the communities we serve across Colorado and western Kansas.

Did you take a selfie when you received your vaccine? If so, and if you’re willing to allow us to share it, please send it to BrentBoyer@centura.org. We also need you to complete two release forms (this one and this one) and return them by scanning and attaching to your email along with your selfie – or, if it’s easier, you can take a clear, legible photo of each form with your phone and include the photos with your email.

If you’re passionate about the COVID-19 vaccine and would like to share a short selfie video (30 seconds or less, please) talking about why you got the vaccine or perhaps the people in your life you are fighting to protect, we’d love to share that with our communities as well! Again, send to BrentBoyer@centura.org along with the completed release forms.

Thank you for your continued work on behalf of our healing ministry!

Cyber Security Advisory: Supply Chain Compromise

On Oct. 14, the U.S. Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) issued an Emergency Directive requiring all Federal agencies and advising all public and private sectors to “Mitigate SolarWinds Orion Code Compromise.”

Work from home, business travel restriction extended

As part of the precautions we are taking to protect your health and well-being, Centura is extending its work from home arrangement through at least Jan. 31, 2021 for associates who are not in a role critical to functions providing direct patient care and do not support care delivery. This includes those who work at our enterprise offices.

Our restriction on all business air travel will remain in effect until at least March 31, 2021 (unless it is specifically approved by Peter D. Banko, President & CEO, our Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, and/or our Senior Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer). This includes air travel for internal meetings, councils or committees, conferences for CME, professional development and other work-related travel. We still ask that you refrain from attending any in-person conferences, unless approved by your local CEO or senior executive. Car travel between Centura facilities throughout Colorado and Kansas remains permitted, but you may not carpool with fellow associates.

We will continue to closely monitor the prevalence of COVID-19 across Colorado and Kansas as well as our organizational and community vaccine progress to inform our work from home policy and business travel restrictions going forward.

Should you have any questions, please reach out to your direct supervisor.

Prepare for the Clairvia upgrade

Clairvia, where clinicians build, edit and view their schedules, will be upgraded on Tuesday, Jan. 19. This upgrade will provide greater stability, improved performance and minimize security risks.

With this upgrade, the following web browsers now support Clairvia: Internet Explorer, Chrome and Safari. As we continue to improve our scheduling and timekeeping system, it is necessary to maintain the existing Clairvia scheduling system for our clinicians until we can roll out Advanced Scheduling in Workforce Dimensions (WFD).

In advance of the Jan. 19 upgrade, Clairvia access was centralized through My Virtual Workplace (MVW). Clinical managers, staffing leads and clinical associates who previously accessed Clairvia from an icon on their desktop now access Clairvia through MVW. A tip sheet is available outlining the simplified steps.

This upgrade is part of our planning and commitment to enhancing and streamlining the user experience. Continue watching for future updates, and we encourage you to share your feedback as we continue working to optimize timekeeping and scheduling for our people. We greatly appreciate your ongoing support and collaboration.

Questions?
If you have any questions regarding this upgrade, please contact your designated Super Users for all Clairvia questions, issues, security permissions and training needs.
