Five Centura Health facilities named Top Hospitals by Leapfrog

At Centura Health, we are committed to achieving zero preventable harm to caregivers, patients and their families. One strategic way we measure and demonstrate our commitment to zero preventable harm is through participation in the Leapfrog Hospital Survey. This annual voluntary survey assesses hospital safety, quality and efficiency based on national performance measures and allows us to benchmark our progress in improving the care we deliver.

The highest performing hospitals on the Leapfrog Hospital Survey are recognized annually with the prestigious Leapfrog Top Hospital Award. The award is not given to a set number of hospitals, but rather, to all teaching, general, rural, and children's hospitals that meet the high standards defined in each year's Top Hospital Methodology.

For the first time in our ministry, Centura Health facilities were recognized as 2020 Leapfrog Top Hospitals:

Top General:

Top Rural: Top Teaching Small: Even when presented with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, our incredible caregivers continued to focus on high-quality, safe and reliable patient care. It is through the dedication of our unstoppable people that we will build upon these achievements and continue to drive excellent clinical outcomes for our healing legacy.

Convenient options to request IT support

To ensure faster resolution of time-sensitive issues, Information Technology (IT) has created multiple options for reporting issues or requesting services. While it may be tempting to go through “alternative” channels (e.g., sending emails to your go-to person, asking your clinical informaticist, waiting to report issues at Safety Huddle, ignoring or failing to report issues, etc.), doing so may significantly delay the issue resolution time.

In fact, 74% of all calls to the Centura Service Center are resolved during the initial call. Only 26% of the calls are escalated to Tier 2 support. You can trust that 7 out of 10 calls will be resolved within minutes of reaching out to the Service Center.

We are here to help you! Current options for reporting issues, requesting IT assistance or support include:

Fun Fact: The most frequently received phone calls are Passwords and Account resets, which do not require a phone call.  You have the ability to reset your password, change your password, or unlock your account by following the steps outlined in this document.

By following one of the options above, you can be confident that your issue will be sent to the appropriate team, ensuring quick resolution of your request and enabling you to return to the important work you do.
