Important Information Services Information
  • Reminder to sign up for UCI Health DUO for access when working remote as it’s a requirement for VPN or RDP capability.

  • Please don’t forward your UCI Health desk phones to a remote cell phone or home number. This takes away phone capacity and will impact the ability to send/receive critical calls within the Medical Center.  If critical capacity is reached, the IS Department will have to remove existing call forwarding that is setup to allow phone calls to be sent/received.
  • IT hardware (excluding laptops) CANNOT be taken home.  Most hardware is not setup for a home network and requires significant configuration to make that work. The IS department is working hard to procure hardware for remote work capability and expects to be able to deploy within two weeks.  More details to follow in the near future.
