Downpayment Plus^® Programs Now Open

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago’s 2018 Downpayment Plus (DPP^®) and Downpayment Plus Advantage^® (DPP Advantage^®) programs are now open with an initial allocation of $14.2 million. Participating FHLBank Chicago members may reserve up to $420,000 in the general pool on a first-come, first-served basis to help their income-eligible borrowers with down payment and closing costs.

Members should review the DPP Program Guide, which includes program requirements, income calculation guidelines, retention requirements, and links to various program forms. Members may wish to use customizable marketing flyers to promote their access to the program. The flyers are available in English, French, Hmong, Polish, and Spanish.

DPP may be paired with a variety of down payment assistance programs, making homeownership even more affordable.
