Neighborhood Housing Services of Green Bay Site Visit Community Investment staff visited NHS of Green Bay to strategize about the implementation of their 2017 competitive Affordable Housing Program (AHP) award through Nicolet National Bank; Associated Bank, National Association; North Shore Bank, FSB; and Bank Mutual. The AHP subsidy will allow NHS of Green Bay to assist area families with down payment costs, closing costs, and limited home repairs.

Illinois Governor’s Conference on Affordable Housing In February, Community Investment staff attended and exhibited at the Illinois Governor’s Conference on Affordable Housing in Chicago. This annual event is co-hosted by the Illinois Housing Council and the Illinois Housing Development Authority. The Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago was a sponsor. Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago’s Annual Awards Dinner On March 13, FHLBank Chicago staff attended NHS Chicago’s Annual Awards Dinner. NHS Chicago recognized the FHLBank Chicago with its Community Impact Award for the Bank’s commitment to investing in comprehensive community development throughout Illinois and Wisconsin. Michael A. Ericson, Executive Vice President and Group Head, Members and Markets, accepted the award on behalf of the FHLBank Chicago, which was also a sponsor of this event.
