Help is here. Correct Coupon? Can’t Print? 

We recently learned of two issues agents could experience when using TWIA systems. The intent of this bulletin is to proactively provide a solution and a workaround so you have help handy, should you need it.

One issue concerns selecting the correct payment coupon for renewals in Policy Center, the other issue concerns PDF documents not printing from the Agent Portal.

Selecting the Correct Payment Coupon by Sorting the Policy Center Column by Date:

Policy Center automatically sorts documents from oldest to newest. This means that if you are working a policy renewal, the payment coupon at the top of the page is likely the payment coupon from the expiring policy term! If the incorrect payment coupon is selected and submitted to TWIA, the funds may not be applied to the correct policy. This may put the policy at risk of lapsing. To avoid this, click on the “date added” column header to sort the date from newest to oldest.

PDF Documents Suddenly Not Printing for You in Policy Center?

Suddenly having trouble viewing and printing PDF documents in Policy Center? A recent Microsoft Windows 10 update that affected Internet Explorer’s (IE) security protocol may be the culprit. Although no Microsoft error codes are displayed, TWIA discovered that adding the Agent Portal website address to the list of trusted sites solves the problem. This step is necessary even if it was done previously.

To do this, locate the options menu in Internet Explorer (denoted by a cog-wheel in the top right-hand corner), select “Internet options,” select the “Security” tab, click on the green “Trusted sites” check mark, click on the “Sites” button, type the portal website address (https://portal.twia.org/), and click “Add.” We suggest that all users do this to each computer running Windows 10.
