Dear Agent,

This week we begin to transition our temporary Mobile Claims Center operations to more permanent Claims Support Centers. The Claims Support Centers' main focus will be providing policyholders with guidance on existing claims and the windstorm certification requirements for completing repairs or replacement of damaged property. While the Claims Support Centers will not issue checks onsite for claim advance payments, they will ensure any claims checks are issued and mailed to the policyholder.

We created this graphic to outline the Mobile Claims Center transition process. It was published yesterday on Facebook and Twitter; please share with your policyholders and fellow agents. Details are also included at the bottom of this message.

Resource for Policyholders: Claims Timeline Info-Sheet

Many of your policyholders have already filed their claim with TWIA, causing some to wonder: Now what? To help explain our claims process, we created this info-sheet about the timeline of a TWIA claim. It describes, week-by-week, what TWIA does after a claim is reported to us and what we recommend policyholders do during this time. You may also find this info-sheet on our website.
