| Announcing PIVO training schedule | Mercy will be implementing a new, needle-free blood draw device called PIVO. This unique device uses a patient’s existing peripheral IV access in lieu of a needle, which can improve the patient experience by minimizing the pain and anxiety of needle sticks and re-sticks, as well as reduce sharps-related injuries for practitioners.
