Rate Filing
Association staff submitted TWIA’s annual rate filing for a 10% increase in 2025 residential and commercial rates to the Texas Department of Insurance this week. The TWIA Board of Directors approved the filings at its August 6 meeting. The filings have been posted to TDI’s website. The rate filings may be approved or disapproved by the Insurance Commissioner no later than October 15.
2024 Biennial Report
Per Texas Insurance Code Section 2210.0025, TWIA staff submitted the 2024 Biennial Report to the Texas Legislature on behalf of the Board of Directors. The Biennial Report contains information regarding the operations of the Association and the Board’s legislative recommendations for the 89th Texas Legislature. The 2024 Biennial Report may also be found on the Financial and Reports page of TWIA’s website.
