Congratulations to the Solid Waste Northeast Service Center. Under the leadership of Deputy Assistant Director of Field Operations Jeffrey Williams, they became the first SWMD Service Center to complete the ZIP training modules. Also contributing to the achievement were Reno Wilkins, HR Risk Management safety supervisor, and Debra Blackshear, SWMD safety manager, who spearheaded the training. More than 85 employees have completed the ZIP training modules. The training led to detailed discussions regarding driving safely; slips, trips and falls; back safety; and overall professional accountability.
