The purpose of this activity is to provide specific healthcare diagnostic and intervention guidelines in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  The guidelines presented by practicing experts and will be based upon the latest research in evidence-based medicine.  In addition to a wide-ranging number of medical topics presented, the content of the presentations will address nationally-established competencies as pertaining to the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology.   At the end of the activity, participants will have an up-to-date understanding of some of the best clinical approaches for
Women’s Healthcare.


Learning Objectives:

Review anatomy of cervix and surrounding structures in order to develop an approach for difficult to place cervical dilators

Summarize common practices regarding antiplatelet or anticoagulant therapy when a patient is undergoing abortion

Discuss ultrasound presentation of multisystemic smooth muscle dysfunction syndrome (MSDS)


Review the progress made with medical management treatment of tubo-ovarian abscesses and the necessity for surgical management

Assess risk factors of hypothermia in patients undergoing vaginal versus laparoscopic hysterectomy

Identify if predictive factors exist for uptake of COVID-19 vaccination in FHQC Santa Ana OB/GYN patient population
