Continue strong with your New Year Resolution goals. Virtual CityFit classes are going on. Join us today!
Start your new year off right by partnering with the Wellness Team to achieve your physical activity goals. Participate in virtual workouts designed to keep you active and engaged, whether you’re at your desk or at home. All classes are free, but pre-registration is required. We hope you will join us live, but if you can’t don’t worry, you can access the workouts up to 72 hours after the live class. (You must register BEFORE the class to have access to the recorded class) Click the link below for class descriptions and to access the registration page. Just register once, and you’re set for the entire series! After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the virtual class.

For this series, we’ve paired the program with health coaching to allow you to get the most out of your workouts! To enroll, call 832-393-6000. Also, participants who achieve perfect attendance and complete the survey at the end of the series, will be entered into a $50 gift card drawing!

Please be sure to maintain professional etiquette and all COVID-19 guidelines, such as social distancing and masks, were applicable.

We have four different types of classes to meet your needs.

Classes begin Jan. 19 and will continue through March 26. No classes will be held on observed City of Houston holidays.


15-Minute “At Your Desk” Workout
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
Noon - 12:15 p.m.

In 15 minutes, improve your health and your work performance! Sit, stand, strengthen, stretch and breathe! This workout will energize your body while boosting endorphins to feel good and improve concentration. Stretching and breathing exercises will help reduce tension and relieve stress! Never leave your desk and still have time to eat lunch!

Virtual Cardio/Strength Workout
Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
6 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Want a full-body workout that gets your heart pumping and muscles moving? These classes target improving cardiovascular health, muscular strength, and endurance by using bodyweight exercises and dumbbells. No dumbbells? No problem! Go weight free or grab two water bottles or two canned foods!

Chair Yoga Workout
Monday & Wednesday
12:30 p.m. - 1 p.m.

Chair yoga deepens flexibility, increases range of motion, and strengthens personal body awareness. Chair yoga offers you the ability to improve your health through this amazing form of adaptive exercise. You are supported by a chair so you can receive yoga’s healing and restorative benefits. Yoga relaxes your body and mind, improves your musculoskeletal fitness and flexibility, and elevates your overall health and well-being.

Line Dance
Tuesday & Thursday
12:30 p.m. - 1 p.m.

Line Dance is a fun low impact interval cardiovascular workout with easy-to-follow choreography that keeps you moving in an effort to raise your heart rate. This version is specifically designed to be done at your desk or in limited space to adhere to social distancing. Get moving and get your heart rate up on your lunch break!
