Most eye injuries are avoidable


The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that 2,000 eye injuries occur in the workplace every day. In 10-20% percent of those injuries, the person loses some or all sight in one or both eyes. But safety experts say about 90% of all eye injuries can be prevented.
