Zero is Possible (ZIP) is a standards-based safety program with the primary goal of driving the City’s occupational safety awareness and mindset toward zero accidents, zero injuries and zero safety compromises.

ZIP is being rolled out to all city departments in phases. You may have received information about ZIP, but if you haven't, you can expect information about your department's program in the future.

In the meantime, the ZIP website includes safety material that every city of Houston employee can use to work safely.
