Dear colleagues, 

I am pleased to inform you that we are initiating a search to identify UCI’s founding chief wellness officer. The chief wellness officer will serve as UCI’s senior executive responsible for providing a holistic vision on all major wellness efforts for the campus and UCI Health.

A search advisory committee, chaired by Vice Chancellor Doug Haynes, has been formed to guide this important recruitment. The committee, bearing in mind our compelling interest in inclusive excellence, is charged with finding superlative candidates with exemplary administrative and leadership experience; nationally recognized research with strong scholarly visibility; substantial administrative and program-building experience; and demonstrated leadership as an innovator, convener, ambassador, collaborator, partner and catalyst in mobilizing leaders from various institutional and community sectors around wellness goals.

Korn Ferry, an executive search firm experienced in this area, has been retained to assist the committee. The committee includes the following members:
