Important Information Regarding Your Access to the Depopulation Website

Agents,

We are following up with you because you participated in selecting depopulation program offers through TWIA in the fall of 2017. Policies with offers you approved that did not cancel or elect to remain with TWIA were transferred to the new carriers on June 1, 2018. Now that June 1 has passed, the TWIA Depopulation Website has been “frozen” with the 2017-2018 program year status. Soon—starting this Saturday, August 18—the TWIA Depopulation Website will be unavailable in preparation for transitioning to the next program year.

Can I Still Access My Policies’ Depopulation Status?

Yes! You can still view the depopulation status on all of your policies. Here’s how: the person in your office that has been designated as the agency admin for the TWIA policy administration system can visit the Agent Portal and go in the main menu to Policy > Listing to export your book of business. The depopulation status of the policy is shown in the last two fields of the spreadsheet: "Carrier Name" and "Depopulation Year." Last year some agents found it helpful to have a “paper copy” of the data for historical purposes. The information as to whether or not a policy was assumed on June 1, 2018 is also available within Policy Center.

To further assist with questions you may have, resources are available at twia.org/depopulation, or for help, please call us at 1-800-788-8247.

Thank you,
