The fall is a delightful time to visit Berlin. The gorgeous autumn foliage creates a picture-perfect backdrop around Zoologischer Garten parkland which is perfect for walks. A highlight in October is the Festival of Lights, when light and video projections are cast onto some of the city’s most famous landmarks, such as Brandenburg Gate and Berlin Cathedral (Oct 5-14).
