Dear Agent,

Policy Center for commercial and manufactured home policies will launch on Monday, February 12. This is less than two weeks away! Don't forget, you can take advantage of computer-based Policy Center training, accessible any time and anywhere, to assist with your transition to the new system.

The implementation of Policy Center for commercial and manufactured home policies will begin Friday, February 9. All TWIA systems, including our quoting systems, will be temporarily unavailable starting at 5:00 PM. Access to TWIA’s system will return on launch day—Monday, February 12—at 7:00 AM. 

To reduce the impact to your business during this time, please plan for the system downtime by submitting any pending new business, renewals, or policy changes prior to February 9 or waiting until the systems are online again on February 12.

Once TWIA’s systems return, you must use Policy Center for all new policy submissions. For all commercial and manufactured home policies that have not yet migrated to Policy Center, policy changes will need to be completed using the prior process.

Below are key implementation week dates for system access.

  • Friday, February 9: All TWIA systems offline starting at 5:00 PM.
  • Monday, February 12: Full access for all lines of business expected by 7:00 AM.

Residential Business

  • Friday, February 9 through Sunday, February 11: You will be unable to submit new submissions, renewals, or policy changes starting at 5:00 PM on Friday and through the weekend.
  • Monday, February 12: The ability to submit new submissions, renewals, and policy changes will resume on Monday at 7:00 AM.

Commercial and Manufactured Home Business

  • Friday, February 9 through Sunday, February 11: You will be unable to submit new submissions, renewals, or policy changes starting Friday at 5:00 PM and through the weekend. Policy applications generated, but not printed, prior to February 9 will be deleted.
  • Monday, February 12: All commercial and manufactured home new policy submissions can be submitted via the new Policy Center application starting at 7:00 AM.
  • Monday, February 12 through Monday, February 19: All policy applications generated and printed from the Agent Portal prior to February 9 will continue to be accepted.
  • Tuesday, February 13: Agents will receive renewal notices through Policy Center for policies that expire on April 12, 2018. Any renewal notices received by mail should be submitted with payment by one of the approved mailing methods.

Claims Center

  • Friday, February 9 through Sunday, February 11: There will be no access to Claims Center starting Friday at 5:00 PM and through the weekend. Claims may still be filed by calling 1-800-744-8247, Option 1, Option 1. Claims Center access will return on Monday, February 12 at 7:00 AM.
