Dear Agent, TWIA is getting closer to moving commercial and manufactured home policies into Policy Center in early 2018. It will take a little over a year for all policies to renew into the system. The migration will be complete in early 2019, allowing agents to service all TWIA residential, commercial, and manufactured home policies through one system. One of the biggest benefits for agents will be the ability to input your new and renewal applications into the system and receive a policy, in most cases, within minutes. You will also be able to input policy changes and submit payments for all transaction types electronically. What can you expect from Policy Center for Commercial and Manufactured Home Policies? If you are already using Policy Center for residential policies, you can expect many of the current system features, including more self-service and payment options. If you will be using Policy Center for the first time, you can expect changes to the system you use and the business processes associated with commercial and manufactured home policies. You can also expect to provide additional information for new applications to facilitate quicker policy processing and improved customer service. This includes policyholder phone number, information about structures providing essential services, and companion policy information. TWIA is here to support you! Whether you are a seasoned Policy Center user or will be experiencing Policy Center for the first time, TWIA is prepared to fully support agents during the transition to Policy Center for commercial and manufactured home policies. We will be offering a variety of training options and tools before and after the system is launched next year.
