We are aware of potentially misleading information on social media about Texas Insurance Law affecting claims filed after 9/1/2017. This law, House Bill 1774, does not apply to TWIA. TWIA policyholders have one year from the date of loss to file a claim, and TWIA claims are not subject to this legislation.
