But some things need to be said.  Since the formation of Omnicom, diversity, caring and equality have been among our core values.  Given the recent events in Charlottesville, I ask that all of us now “double-down” on this commitment to help others, build bridges and treat each other with respect.

There is no place in society for hatred and bigotry. This isn’t a political issue, it’s an issue of basic human decency.  It means standing up for what is right at a difficult moment.

I am very proud of the 78,000 people working at Omnicom. I am inspired everyday by our diversity and the work we create for clients because of it. The uniqueness of our people drives the creative process.  It is one of our greatest strengths.

Everyday, Omnicom people make a difference.  I thank you for leading by example in making the world a better place.  I stand with you.
