Claims Center Tips and Resources

Last summer TWIA launched Claims Center, which lets policyholders and agents file a claim online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from any computer or mobile device. Now that we're in the heart of spring storm season and coming up on hurricane season, we want to share some important tips and resources to help you navigate and learn more about Claims Center.

Useful tips and reminders:

  • You may access Claims Center by logging into the Agent Portal and clicking on the Claims Center link.
  • To avoid reporting a duplicate claim, view the policyholder's claim history in Claims Center or the Loss Run report in the Agent Portal before entering a new claim.
  • Help TWIA respond quickly and effectively by providing as much information as possible when reporting a claim. Our system uses the information you provide to automatically assign the best resources for that particular claim. 
  • In addition to providing a general description of the cause of loss, be ready to also indicate the types of external, internal, and personal property damage in the appropriate places or indicate no damage in each undamaged area.
