Texas FAIR Plan Association (TFPA) is implementing policy form changes, as approved by the Texas Department of Insurance. Some of these changes are made to: reflect emerging court interpretations about coverage; reduce coverage; conform to state law; and clarify existing coverage.

The below revised policy forms will be required for new and renewal policies effective on or after February 1, 2017.

• TFPA Condominium Policy Form
• TFPA Dwelling Policy Form
• TFPA Homeowners Policy Form
• TFPA Tenant Policy Form

The changes that affect the above policy forms are outlined in the documents below.

• Notice of Contract Changes – TFPA Homeowners Policy Form Revisions

A Notice of Contract Changes letter that covers the policy form changes will be included with the policy jackets distributed to affected policyholders. The Policy Forms, Endorsements, and Notices of Contract Changes are available online in the Agents and Policyholders sections of www.TexasFairPlan.org.
