Dear Agent,
New Payment History Feature
We have added a Payment History section to our portals! You and your customers can now find historical payment data in the following ways:
TWIA Agent Portal
When selecting a policy, click on Billing and you will find the Payment History located at the bottom of the billing page, including data related to received date, check or reference number, and payment amount and method.
Policyholder Portal
Select the Payment Center tab. Click on the Payment History button or scroll to the bottom of the Payment Center page.
New Digital Payment Service
On Wednesday, September 6, 2023, we are updating our Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT) services. The current and new digital payment services are very similar and the day-to-day payment activities in the Agent Portal will not change. To ensure data is transferred seamlessly without payment disruptions, please be aware of the following changes:
- Data Migration: Current EFT data will transfer to the new system on August 30. Please refrain from making updates to your EFT data until after September 6. If you must make changes to your account information during this period, we will notify you to re-enter it after September 6.
- Debit Block Information: If your payment account is protected by a debit block, add our new ACH company ID (0000408976) to your bank account with your bank by September 6.
- Increased Down-Payment Limit: The new maximum limit for echecks and EFTs has increased significantly from $99,999 to $500,000.
- No Business Savings Accounts: Business savings accounts may no longer be used to make electronic payments. Please use a business checking account to make digital payments to TWIA after September 6.
We are here to help! We will notify any agents whose accounts appear to be impacted. If you have any questions or concerns, contact us at agentservices@twia.org or (800) 788-8247. Our normal business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Please note that we will be closed on Monday, September 4 for the Labor Day holiday, and we will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, September 5.
Thank you for your understanding.
Sincerely,
Texas Windstorm Insurance Association
