Introducing our Clinical Planning Committee
We have established a Clinical Planning Committee (CPC) to provide insight on all clinical planning efforts to the Joint Planning Committee and to coordinate and consolidate group input and feedback from clinicians across UNC Health and Duke Health.
The CPC includes a multidisciplinary team of experts, with Dr. Stephanie Duggins Davis and Dr. Ann Reed as co-leaders, and Dr. Ian Buchanan and Dr. Tom Owens serving as Joint Planning Committee representatives:

The CPC will meet monthly and initially focus on NC Children’s campus and facility planning, clinical services development, and opportunities to expand high-quality pediatric services.
We will share more information as the CPC begins its work, including how clinicians and teammates can share feedback and ideas. In the meantime, please email cpc@ncchildrens.org.

Location Update
You may have seen news stories speculating about potential locations for the NC Children’s campus. We are still evaluating several potential locations across the Triangle, and a decision has not been made. We hope to confirm and announce a location for NC Children’s by late this summer.

State Budget Update
We continue to work closely with the Senate, House and Governor related to the North Carolina state budget. The next step involves negotiations between the Senate and House, and then final budget proposal will be sent to Gov. Josh Stein. We will share more details as the state budget is confirmed.
