| Mark Fisher (Neurology) and MPIs, Wei Ling Lau (Medicine) and Shino Magaki (UCLA), were awarded an NINDS R21 titled, “ Neurovascular Calcification: Consequences and Treatment.” This project is a combined human neuropathology and mouse model investigation of mechanisms of intracranial calcification, focusing on microvascular consequences of neurovascular calcification and treatment strategies to reduce intracranial calcification.
