Today, the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association and Texas FAIR Plan have lifted the policy moratoriums placed into effect last week. These moratoriums were due to the presence of Hurricane Rafael in the Gulf of Mexico.
Both TWIA and FAIR Plan are now accepting applications, issuing new policies, and processing renewals.
