Relief efforts related to the devastating tornadoes that touched down in multiple counties across Middle Tennessee, including Nashville’s Davidson County, are underway.

If you want to support relief efforts in Nashville and surrounding counties, we encourage you to work through organizations engaged with Nashville VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster).

Vanderbilt University is hosting several giveaways and discounts to show our appreciation for our staff and faculty’s hard work this year. Here is a reminder of what you can still take advantage of today:

V150 Coffee Table Book
Staff and faculty who reserved their free copy of the Vanderbilt Sesquicentennial coffee table book can pick it up at the Vanderbilt Bookstore today from 10AM-4PM. If you did not reserve a copy, a few copies will still be available on a first-come, first-served basis

You can also join a special conversation between New York Times bestselling author Andrew Maraniss and University Archivist Kathy Smith at the distribution event today from 2-3PM.
