The Ellen DeGeneres Show May 14th, 2009 "Game Week"
Tahiti Tourisme North America (TTNA) worked with the producers of the Ellen DeGeneres show to include two grand prizes to the islands of Tahiti during Ellen’s famous “Game Week.”
Beginning on Monday, and working up to a grand prize on Friday (which was a brand new Ford Taurus), Ellen had guests compete against one another for a prize each day.
On Thursday, May 14, Tahiti was the highlight with a grand prize awarded to both the on-air winner and an online winner.
The segment titled “Mai-Tai’d Up," had Ellen, the audience, and the players in stitches.

The article highlighted the Bora Bora Lagoon Resort & Spa, commenting on the dreamlike views over the lagoon and of famous Mount Otemanu.

The spread includes breathtaking photographs, emphasizing the incredible attributes of our destination.
The author, Linda Shepertycki, shares with readers her excitement in discovering several of the Society Islands including Tahiti, Moorea, Raiatea, Taha’a and Bora Bora.
In the March 7th edition she describes her journey through the islands of Tahiti and Moorea and continues with the islands of Raiatea, Taha’a and the majestic island of Bora Bora in the March 14th edition.

The expert magazine in honeymoons covers one of our resorts in an exclusive feature “40 Amazing and Affordable Beach Retreats” in the April/ May issue. We are proud to say that among 50 hotel brands worldwide, The Radisson Plaza Resort Tahiti was considered as being one of the best in that category. The author presents the characteristics of the hotel through a detailed list of all diverse amenities the resort offers.
In the same issue of Modern Bride, the authors Donna Heiderstadt and Heidi Sarna introduce a spread on the most romantic and affordable cruise ships, featuring the Star Flyer in “ A High Sea Honeymoon.”

InterContinental Resorts French Polynesia honored Earth Day 2009 as part as their continuous efforts to raise environment awareness and practices.
InterContinental Resorts French Polynesia and Te Mana o Te Moana, a non-profit environmental organization, joined forces to host Earth Day events in the garden of the City Hall in Papeete.
The organization
strives to protect marine environment, provides public education and
promotes eco-friendly practices throughout the InterContinental
properties. Seminars on climate change, waste and environment were organized in French Polynesia as well as a conference on climate change in the Pacific and its consequences.
Richard Bailey, owner of the four InterContinental Resorts in French Polynesia, is co-founder of Te Mana o Te Moana.
