As with past years, TTNA participates in many industry and trade events to support the travel agent community. Included in this area are events involving retail travel agents, home based agents, and consortiums. Our objective is to provide the travel agent community with current destination and partner information, appropriate selling tools, and continued momentum with sales of our islands.

TTNA participates in several consumer direct tradeshows each year, taking our staff members across the continent to bring the islands of Tahiti to the North American market. Our mission is to increase awareness in the consumer market, to directly influence the consumers to choose our islands as their next vacation destination, and to continually remind them of our beautiful islands.

Each Spring, TTNA hits the road visiting 15-18 cities across the U.S and Canada bringing an in-depth and in-person method of reaching qualified travel agents through our workshop series. These are set to attract quality travel agents who are not yet selling Tahiti (who need appropriate destination knowledge and selling tools), travel agents who are selling Tahiti but are not yet part of the Tiare Program (who we want to bring closer to our network,  keep them connected with up-to-date information, selling tools, and to ensure Tahiti is one of their main selling destinations) and Tiare agents who are already selling Tahiti (to renew their knowledge and momentum of selling our islands). 

Our workshops are run by TTNA and we are joined by our opt-in Partner representatives from the tour operators, hotels, cruise lines, and airlines. 

             

               

Partner training sessions are conducted throughout the year to strengthen our Partners' selling efforts. We strive to keep our partners informed of essential information to complement their Tahiti knowledge and to educate their front-line personnel. Our North American partners have the opportunity of requesting training sessions on an ad hoc basis.
