Set your Tivo!! Anthony Bourdain’s “No Reservations: French Polynesia” will be airing on the Travel Channel beginning August 20, 2007! Air times will vary, check your local listings.
Tony and his crew traveled to the islands in February of this year to shoot this one-hour long cuisine driven show. Many thanks to Air Tahiti Nui for bringing this opportunity to our islands – and to all the partners that worked together in creating a smooth shoot on the islands of Tahiti, Rangiroa, and Hiva Oa!

Luxury Travel Advisor – June 2007 |
|
“Destination Weddings – From Napa to French Polynesia…” opens this four page article in Luxury Travel Advisor magazine last month.
The article, by Erin Sternthal, covers four resorts that “deliver more than a stunning backdrop for nuptials.” Included in Erin’s top list of resorts for destination weddings is the Bora Bora Lagoon Resort. The article covers all elements of a planned wedding ceremony including the traditional Tahitian attire, arrival by the groom in an outrigger canoe, Polynesian music and the options for catering.

The overwater wedding chapel receives another hit in Bridal Guide’s August issue.
Writer Judy Koutsky notes that Tahiti is “justifiably famous for its pristine beaches, natural wonders, as well as for traditional South Pacific offerings like overwater bungalows and hideaways accessible only by boat.”
She goes on to let readers know that world-class amenities are also available at many of the hotels and resorts, including wireless internet access and award-winning dining experiences.

The “World’s Best Awards” are out! Each year, Travel + Leisure magazine turns to its discriminating readers to determine the very best in travel. The World’s Best Awards cover the top hotels, resorts, airlines, and cruise lines – as voted by their loyal readers.
The following partners received awards in the respective categories. The island of Bora Bora took the cake as far as Tahiti is considered.
