 2006 Recap

Our numbers in web traffic have increased dramatically compared to the year-end numbers of 2005. The 2006 Tactical (Q1, Q2 & Q3/Q4), Honeymoon, and Awareness advertising campaigns have successfully driven more traffic to our website, giving us more opportunity to generate leads for our partners. Our website visitors and unique visitors have both increased 41%. Our team also focuses on viral marketing, which provides low cost execution with effective results; as such, we are excited to see that the number of pages passed on by consumers to their friends increased by 39%. With the increased visits and use of our website, the amount of consumer requests through our dynamic planner more than doubled! Even more encouraging is that the number of consumers who have opted-in to receive E-Special Offers went up 152%!

The following graphs indicate that the traffic at Tahiti-Tourisme.com is the heaviest in the winter months and lowest during the summer months in North America. This aptly follows the trend of visitor bookings to Tahiti: most consumers start planning their Tahiti vacations in the months of October to November. The number of booking requests/leads peak in March, and thereafter begins to taper off in the summer as visitors enjoy their vacations throughout the Islands of Tahiti.

e-Ticketing Prevails in the Airline Industry

Since the advent of online booking, airline passengers have started to prefer using e-Tickets. Now, almost all airline passengers are choosing e-Tickets, as opposed to paper tickets that the industry have used for many decades.

According to ARC (Airlines Reporting Corporation), "e-Ticketing as a percentage of travel documents processed on behalf of all ARC participating carriers rose from 89.47% at the beginning of the year to a record level of 95.43% at year's end."
