Recap

The highly tactical “We Dream in Color” campaign continues through the end of March, featuring banner ads on several websites and print ads in select magazines. The number of Dynamic Planner and Special Offer leads generated through our website is the best tool we have at this time for monitoring the campaign’s performance, and the statistics so far are very encouraging. In order to keep the momentum going, the five opt-in Tour Operator Partners involved in the campaign met with TTNA and Air Tahiti Nui last week to discuss the possibility of extending the program into the Second Quarter.

Honeymoon Campaign Launches

The 2006 Honeymoon Campaign, headed by TTNA with the assistance of five opt-in Tour Operator Partners and Air Tahiti Nui, kicked off recently with a spread advertisement in Brides magazine (see below). The Brides ad, using the same creative as the We Dream in Color Campaign, makes a strong visual impact, furthered by its felicitous placement in the front of the book. The ad is the first of ten planned print ads in Brides, Modern Bride, Elegant Bride, and Brides Honeymoons & Weddings Away, planned throughout the year.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue

In addition to 15 gorgeous pages of editorial and photos, TTNA was able to negotiate a free full-page advertisement (value of $341,837.00 USD) in the 2006 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. The ad features the island of Huahine and uses the same creative template as the We Dream in Color Campaign.

TravelStore’s VactionFest
Over 2,100 high-quality consumers traveled to the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium on February 26 for TravelStore’s 7th Annual VacationFest. A retail travel agency, TravelStore’s sales continue to rise as they come off a strong 2005. TTNA and Hotel Bora Bora represented the Tahiti booth, where show traffic was steady, with most consumers being knowledgeable about the Tahiti product. TTNA also partnered with Air Tahiti Nui and InterContinental Resorts to give away a trip. Island Escapes by Goway and Air New Zealand participated with collateral; several other Partners exhibited in their own booths.

New York Times Travel Show
Thousands of future honeymooners, consumers, and travel agents jammed the Jacob Javits Convention Center February 24-26 for The New York Times Travel Show. Traffic to the Tahiti booth was good on all three days, which was staffed by TTNA, Air Tahiti Nui, Pleasant Tahitian Holidays, and Aranui/CPTM. TTNA’s Maureen Furedi and Robin Milano of Air Tahiti Nui split a 45-minute presentation, attended by about 40 consumers. Air New Zealand, Bora Bora Lagoon Resort, InterContinental Resorts, Island Escapes by Goway, Le Meridien Hotels, Pearl Resorts, Sunspots International, and Tahiti Vacations all participated with collateral.

Classic Custom Vacations Product Showcase
TTNA exhibited at another of Classic Custom Vacations’ Product Showcases, February 28 in San Diego. Classic’s Showcase series brings the owners, managers, and frontline agents of top travel agencies together for a mix-and-mingle session with suppliers and tourism offices. Hotel Kia Ora and Air Tahiti Nui joined TTNA in the Tahiti booth to distribute collateral and answer questions from the 75 attendees.

Islands in the Sun Spring Seminar Series
Islands in the Sun, the oldest Tour Operator selling Tahiti in North America, begins their Spring Seminar Series this week.
