Blanca Rodriguez, Agent Services Representative

TWIA is always striving to provide the best resources to agents. We know our people are our best resource, so it makes sense we gathered some of our best in customer service and created the Agent Services group. Blanca Rodriguez is part of this group, and she and her team members are at your service to answer your emails and phone calls here at TWIA so we can all serve our policyholders well.

Blanca was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and has worked in insurance for more than a decade. When she came to TWIA three years ago, she worked as an underwriter before being recruited to her current role in Agent Services.

“Helping people” is her favorite part of her job, and since she’s ambidextrous, she’s able to solve problems with one hand while helping to prevent them with the other. Ultimately, she’s a people-person and just enjoys working with others to help agents have a great overall experience with TWIA.

When she joined TWIA she immediately found it a “good place to work and learn” and a place full of opportunity for personal and professional growth. Sometimes at the end of a long day, she finds motivation in how passionate and customer service-oriented her team members are.

Robert Piña, Blanca’s supervisor, says that “she is always ready to help our customers with a positive and professional attitude.”

This quote comes as no surprise when you consider Blanca’s personal mantra is the Golden Rule, and she does her best to live up to it every day in her interactions with coworkers and agents.
