Eagle Harbor Apartments

Sam Nicita, FHLBC Executive Vice President, joined McFarland State Bank at the ribbon cutting for Eagle Harbor Apartments—36 units of affordable rental housing in Madison, WI. The project was sponsored by Care Net Pregnancy Center of Dane County and received a $396,000 Affordable Housing Program grant in 2013.

Rolan's Senior Village


Central Wisconsin Community Action Council recently celebrated the grand opening of Rolan’s Senior Village; the project received a $48,000 Affordable Housing Program grant through the Bank of Mauston in 2013. While just eight units, the project provides much-needed affordable rental housing for seniors in Necedah, WI—a town of only 923 residents. Tim Klont represented the FHLBC at the ribbon cutting.

Danville Veterans Housing

Mercy Housing recognized the FHLBC and 11 other organizations with its Partners in Innovation Award for the collaboration on the Danville Veterans Housing project—65 units of affordable rental housing for veterans in Danville, IL. The project received a $585,000 Affordable Housing Program grant through First Midwest Bank in 2012. Tim Klont represented the FHLBC at the award ceremony held in Chicago, IL.

Wisconsin Women's Business Initiative Corporation Annual Luncheon


Representatives of the FHLBC and its Community Investment Advisory Council attended the Wisconsin Women's Business Initiative Corporation's (WWBIC's) annual luncheon in Milwaukee, WI. WWBIC was the first partner of the Community First® Fund.
