The MPF Program participated at several industry conferences during the first quarter of the year.
 From March 1 – 5, the MPF Program was an exhibitor at the Independent Community Bankers Association (ICBA) Convention in Honolulu that was attended by more than 2,000 community bankers. The MPF Program booth was one of the highlights of the show as the MPF Program was the sponsor of the photo booth (shown right), where hundreds of attendees had their picture taken. Each one received a commemorative photo to take home as a souvenir of their trip to the convention. Over 250 of those bankers in attendance took home information about the MPF Program to learn how they might take advantage of the secondary market through the MPF Program. Three community bankers took home a Bose Mini Speaker System as door prize winners.
Attendees from several of the Federal Home Loan Banks participated in the American Banker Association (ABA) National Conference for Community Bankers which was held in Phoenix from February 16 – 19. Over 1,200 community bankers from across the country were in attendance with many stopping by the MPF Program booth to visit with representatives from the Federal Home Loan Banks of Boston, Chicago, and San Francisco to learn more about the advantages of the various products offered through the MPF Program.
The MPF Program was most recently an exhibitor at the ABA Real Estate Lending Conference held in Charleston, SC from April 6 – 8 that was attended by over 500 real estate lending professionals representing community lenders. | |  |
