Assumption Reinsurance Depopulation Program Webinar on September 21

Due to the high volume of interest in the Assumption Reinsurance Depopulation Program (Assumption program) webinar on Thursday, September 15, some agents may not have been able to attend. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

TWIA will host another live webinar on Wednesday, September 21 at 10am CDT. The webinar will provide agents with an overview of our Assumption program and allow them to ask questions. Please register for  the Assumption program webinar at:  https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/4190959370928001540.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. A recorded webinar on the Assumption program will also be available in the Agent section of TWIA.org on Friday, September 23.

Assumption Program - Agent Period

Your agency has from now through October 31, 2016 to enter into contracts with insurers participating in the Assumption program. Agents can approve depopulation offers through the TWIA depopulation website. Any offers your agency approves will be sent to your policyholders on December 1, 2016 for their approval. Any offers your agency does not approve on the TWIA depopulation website, or on which you have taken no action at all by October 31, 2016, will not be sent to your policyholders.
